    About PDF to PowerPoint

    This tool turns a PDF into a PowerPoint presentation with one slide per page, in the same order as the original document. It is the quickest way to present a report, a brochure or a set of designs that only exists as a PDF, without rebuilding the deck by hand.

    How to use it

    1. Upload the PDF you want to present.
    2. Press Convert to PowerPoint.
    3. Wait while each page is turned into a slide - the progress bar shows how far along it is.
    4. Download the .pptx file and open it in your presentation software.

    Good to know

    • Page order is always preserved: page 1 becomes slide 1, page 2 becomes slide 2, and so on.
    • The slide size is taken from the first page of the PDF, so a landscape PDF gives you landscape slides and a portrait PDF gives you portrait slides.
    • Conversion is limited to 300 pages per file.
    • This server has no PDF page renderer installed, so the text of each page is placed on an editable slide instead of a picture of the page. Ask the site owner to install Poppler or Ghostscript, or to configure a conversion API, for picture-perfect slides.

    Your files and your privacy

    Files are uploaded over an encrypted connection, stored under a random name that cannot be guessed, and processed on the server. Nothing is shared with anyone, nothing is indexed, and every uploaded and generated file is deleted automatically after 30 minutes. You can read the full file deletion policy and our privacy policy.

    Frequently asked questions

    Will each PDF page become its own slide?
    Yes. One page always produces exactly one slide, and the order never changes.
    Can I edit the slides afterwards?
    You can always reorder, delete, duplicate and annotate slides, and add your own text boxes. Whether the page content itself is editable text depends on how the conversion ran - the result panel tells you which mode was used.
    Which programs open the file?
    Any application that reads .pptx: Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 and newer, Google Slides, LibreOffice Impress, WPS Office and Apple Keynote.
    Why is my presentation file large?
    When slides contain a picture of each page, the file grows with the page count and image detail. You can shrink the source document first with the PDF compress tool to get a smaller deck.
