1. Acceptance
By using PDF Tools And Image crop tools you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2. The service
We provide free, browser-based tools for cropping PAN photographs and signatures, and for converting, compressing and editing PDF documents and images. The service is offered as-is and may be changed, suspended or withdrawn at any time without notice.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree that you will:
- only upload files that you own or have the right to process;
- not upload anything unlawful, infringing, malicious or designed to harm the service;
- not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the server, other users' files, or the admin area;
- not use automated scripts, scrapers or bulk pipelines that place an unreasonable load on the service;
- not attempt to circumvent file size limits, rate limits or any other technical restriction.
We may block access from any address that abuses the service, without notice.
4. Your files and your rights in them
You keep all rights in the files you upload and in the files the tools produce for you. We claim no ownership of anything you process. We store your files only for as long as it takes to complete your request, after which they are deleted automatically - see the file deletion policy.
5. Accuracy of conversions
Document conversion is not an exact science. PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint represent content in fundamentally different ways, and some information will always be reinterpreted when moving between them. We describe the known limits of each tool on its own page. You are responsible for checking that a converted file is fit for your purpose before you rely on it, particularly for official submissions.
6. PAN photograph and signature specifications
The pixel dimensions and DPI values used by the PAN tools follow the published requirements of the UTI PSA and NSDL / Protean PAN application portals. Those portals are operated independently of us and may change their requirements at any time. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to UTIITSL, Protean eGov Technologies (NSDL), the Income Tax Department or any government body.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any particular file will convert successfully.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill arising out of your use of the service - including a rejected application, a missed deadline or a document that did not convert as you expected. Always keep your own copy of any original file.
9. Advertising and third-party links
The site may display third-party advertising and may link to other websites. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Visiting a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.
10. Intellectual property
The design, text, layout and software of this website belong to their respective owners and may not be copied, reproduced or redistributed without permission. This does not affect your rights in the files you process.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The revision date is shown at the top of this page, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
